Staff Applications Engineer
Job Title: Applications Engineer –Temperature Measurement Systems
Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado
Department: Applications Engineering
Type: Full-Time, On-Site (Minimum 3-Days/Week)
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Applications Engineer with a background in precision analog-to-digital converter (ADC) measurements or temperature sensing ICs to join our team. You will work alongside industry experts developing cutting-edge temperature sensors, fan controllers, and thermal management solutions for demanding applications across industrial, automotive, and computing sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the definition of next-generation thermal management and sensor products.
- Design and validate application circuits and reference systems using precision temperature measurement ICs and Fan Controllers.
- Provide technical support to customers, including schematic reviews, debugging, and best practices for system design.
- Collaborate with product, design, and marketing teams to optimize performance and usability.
- Develop and maintain application notes, evaluation tools, and technical collateral.
- Represent the voice of the customer in internal design and roadmap discussions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with precision ADCs, temperature sensors, or thermal management systems.
- Solid understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuit design.
- Familiarity with embedded systems and common digital interfaces (I2C, SPI).
- Experience with Raspberry pi, Arduino or related development systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and customer-facing communication abilities.
Bonus Skills (Not Required):
- Experience with fan control systems, power management, or thermal simulation tools.
