Inside Sales Engineer

Emerson has an appealing opportunity for you: we are looking for an Inside Sales Engineer to join our team in Prague, Brno or Ostrava.

This role will focus on supporting customers and sales engineers with issuing quotations, active follow-up, technical reviews, project co-ordination, technical order entry, customer communication and troubleshooting, and maintaining price lists/discount structures.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

 

• Issuing quotations and follow-up on them to ensure a maximum quotation to order conversion ratio
• Entering orders on a technical basis into the business process
• Co-ordinating with manufacturing facilities in case of technical issues, lead-times and projects
• Supporting Customers by telephone, e-mail and other communication possibilities, attending customer project evaluations and product inspections
• Advising customers and sales team members on technical solutions and benefits, negotiating sales orders within agreed delegation of authority
• Traveling to customers to support sales initiatives (along with Outside Sales Engineers)
• Being responsible for screening and use of all relevant procedures related to Export Compliance Policy

For This Role, You Will Need:

 

• University/Secondary school education - technical specialization
• Engineering or technical knowledge
• Proficient in English (written and spoken); Czech/Slovak native
• Proven ability to communicate optimally with a wide range of end-users 

 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

 

• Knowledge of tools such as CRM or ORACLE
• Experience working with Valves, engineering companies, technical documentation, business cases will be considered an advantage
