• Single License: $69,347 - $97,094 annually based on relevant years of experience
• Dual License: $72,800 - $101,920 annually based on relevant years of experience

Status: Full time, 40 hours per week

Role Overview:

Responsible for supporting the delivery of clinical services by assisting mental health and substance use disorder treatment teams, contributing to effective coordination and quality care under the guidance of more senior clinical leaders. They will also provide case consultation to clinicians and/or treatment team members, both in individual and group settings. May work alongside the leadership team within a program/site to prepare the clinical team for emerging treatments and/or service array changes. Responsible for performing direct client care for clients needing mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment.

The Clinical Team Lead supports the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services through clinical leadership, supervision, consultation, and direct client care. This position provides clinical and administrative supervision to behavioral health therapists, case managers, and peer specialists while assisting program leadership with clinical operations, staff development, implementation of evidence-based practices, and quality improvement initiatives.

This is a split position, dedicating approximately 50% of time to the First Episode Psychosis (FEP) Program and 50% to traditional outpatient behavioral health services.

Within the First Episode Psychosis (FEP) Program, the Clinical Team Lead provides leadership and direct clinical services within a Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) model serving adolescents and young adults experiencing early psychosis. The Team Lead supports implementation of evidence-based early intervention practices, collaborates with a multidisciplinary treatment team, provides individual and family therapy, and promotes recovery through education, employment, family involvement, and community integration.

Within Outpatient Services, the Clinical Team Lead provides assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and individual, family, and group therapy for individuals experiencing a broad range of behavioral health and co-occurring substance use concerns while supporting overall clinic operations and staff development.

Essential Duties:   

• Provide guidance, training, technical assistance, and coaching to assigned clinical staff to ensure and maintain clinical skills. 
• Act as a role model providing support and removing barriers.
• Assist in providing on-site leadership, which may include crisis intervention, attending to needs of staff within the building, problem solving between treatment team members, and helping clients who need assistance. 
• Provide clinical and administrative supervision to clinical staff members, adhere to regulatory supervision requirements and documentation standards, and ensure the highest competence for clinical staff and effective treatment intervention. 
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary professional staff within SummitStone and the community.
• Provide a wide variety of individual, family, and group therapeutic and rehabilitative activities to achieve goals of services/treatment plan; prevent deterioration, and hospitalization.
• Perform direct client care including initial screenings, intake assessments, on-going assessments and treatment, crisis intervention, care collaboration, and case management to clients.
