Senior People Ops Business Partner

The Opportunity 

Brightflag is growing. We are a team of 150 technologists, lawyers, creators and some of the brightest commercial minds in SaaS, working from the US, Europe and Australia. Together we are transforming how in-house legal teams work. We are now looking for a Senior People Operations Partner to join our team. Based in New York, this role will report to the VP of People, and be a core member of a high performing People Ops team. The Senior People Operations Business Partner will provide strategic and operational People Ops support to our Growth teams, and lead strategic people projects across the wider organization. You’ll also be a standard bearer and guardian for our  positive, inclusive, people-focused culture. We have big ambitions, but we know we’re not the finished article just yet. What You Will Be Doing

• Providing strategic and operational People Ops partnership to our Go To Market teams (approx 50 people, primarily US based).
• Driving hiring for Go To Market teams.
• Acting as a coach and sounding board for our Go to Market people leaders up to executive level.
• Providing leadership and mentoring to our emerging People Ops stars.
• Acting as a senior point of contact and subject matter expert on complex or commercially critical talent matters.
• Collaborating with the People Ops team to support business priorities, change programs, and cyclical People Ops processes.
• Leading (designing, building, rolling out & iterating) strategic and organisation-wide People Ops projects.
• Supporting the development and operationalisation of the People strategy.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in the role, you need:

• 7+ years’ experience in a People Ops partner role in a tech company.
• Comfort and experience operating as a true generalist, advising on culture, employee experience, recruitment, reward, policy, learning… and everything in between.
• Experience managing a program of strategic/change projects.
• Experience managing operational processes to a high standard of execution.
• Comfortable supporting teams and leaders through employee relations issues independently.
• Outstanding stakeholder management and relationship building skills up to C Level.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

This role is primarily based in our office in New York City (3 days per week), with flex to work in office or at home for the balance of your time.
