This is a global role that allows flexibility in location across SGS, reporting directly to the GOI Head of Safety Operations &amp; MA Integration.</p><p>At Global OI, we believe that great people drive great business, and we strive for <strong>safety excellence</strong> at all times. Working closely under the guidance of the GOI Head of Safety Operations &amp; MA Integration, this role involves the development, implementation, deployment, and coordination of HSE programs, processes, and procedures to achieve the Group’s Health, Safety, and Environmental objectives.</p><p>You'll play a key role in developing, implementing, and coordinating HSE programs globally. Your focus will include <strong>issue resolution, project management,</strong> and diverse safety requests handling.</p><p><strong>What you’ll be doing</strong></p><ul><li>Assist the GOI Head of Safety Operations in providing advice and support to all SGS affiliates across the group on HSE matters.</li><li>Contribute to the development of best practices in HSE and disseminate information to relevant employees, regions, and affiliates.</li><li>Conduct<strong> inspections/audits</strong> of sites and support the delivery of the Group Audit Programme.</li><li>Collaborate with ROI, COI, and site management teams to ensure HSE compliance in line with SGS OIMS standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines.</li><li>Offer support to affiliates for implementing appropriate <strong>mitigation controls</strong> and provide advice as needed.</li><li>Contribute to <strong>accident/incident investigations</strong> in accordance with company processes.</li><li>Support <strong>lab safety and chemical management</strong> across affiliates.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Degree or other recognized qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, Diploma) in an HSE-related field.Strong <strong>working knowledge of HSE</strong>.</li><li>5 or more years of experience in general <strong>safety management</strong>, including expertise in lab safety, chemical management, and fire safety.</li><li>Proficient in English (fluent spoken &amp; written).</li><li>IT proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint &amp; Document Management Software (Crystal)).</li><li>Ability to work within a diverse team and collaborate effectively.</li><li>Relevant industry membership (e.g., IOSH, IIRSM).</li><li>Strong <strong>interpersonal relationship skills</strong> with a confident, resilient approach and the ability to influence others.</li><li>Capability to handle <strong>difficult situations.</strong></li><li><strong>Willingness to travel</strong> when necessary.</li><li>Excellent <strong>presentation skills.</strong></li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>Why SGS?</strong></p><ul><li>Join a globally recognized and <strong>stable company, a</strong> <strong>leader in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) industry.</strong></li><li>Enjoy a flexible schedule and <strong>remote</strong> work model.</li><li>Access SGS University and Campus for continuous learning options.</li><li>Thrive in a <strong>multinational environment</strong>, collaborating with colleagues from multiple continents.</li><li>Benefit from our comprehensive benefits platform.</li></ul><p><strong>Join Us: </strong>At SGS, we are dedicated to fostering an open, friendly, and supportive culture that thrives on teamwork.
