YOUR MISSION
We are seeking highly motivated Hardware and Environments Test Engineers to support the design, planning, and execution of test campaigns for aerospace defense systems. You will work closely with engineers, program managers, and technical teams to ensure that systems meet performance, environmental, and mission-critical requirements. In this role, you will develop test plans, execute tests, collect data, analyze results, and ensure that the systems meet all specifications. The position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge aerospace technologies in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and lead multiple test campaigns for major programs, including requirements verification, procedure development, and execution oversight.
- Interface with program leadership, customers, regulatory bodies, venders, and technicians during design reviews and formal test events.
- Author and review test documentation including plans, procedures, readiness reports, and compliance matrices.
- Analyze test data, lead root cause investigations, resolve anomalies and nonconformance's
- Serve as Test Director ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols of test execution and maintaining compliance with all facility requirements throughout testing cycles
- Serve as the technical point of contact for internal and external test-related communications.
- Ensure compliance with industry and military standards for test planning and reporting.
- Establishes standard processes to troubleshoot and safe flight hardware during test anomalies.
- Provides technical support and mentorship to junior engineers.
QUALIFICATIONS
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field.
- Able to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret clearance.
- Demonstrated experience in safely handling, operating, and testing of flight hardware
- Excellent communication, leadership, and technical documentation skills.
- 1000 Years of relevant experience in hardware test (thermal, structural, electromagnetic interference/ compatibility, RF, Fluids, etc.) engineering with continuously evolving requirements.
- Capable of creating training standards for technicians and engineers to safely operate test equipment.
- Experience leading complex test campaigns and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong background in data analysis, systems engineering, and failure analysis.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Master's or higher degree in relevant engineering field.
- Knowledge of environmental and performance test methodologies and standards.
- Expertise with data acquisition, test automation, and scripting (LabVIEW, Python, MATLAB).
- Experience with test standards such as MIL-STD-810, DO-160, or NASA/DoD specs.
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
