Job Description:

As a Lead Solution Strategist, and a highly experienced Department of Defense (DoD) subject matter expert, you will be responsible for leading and/or contributing to growth strategies for USSOCOM’s Global Logistics Support Services (SOF GLSS) enterprise contract. In this role you will serve as a key contributor to GDIT’s efforts in this domain.

Make an Impact:

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex technical and management solutions aligned to USSOCOM needs as a key member of the Capture Team.
• Identify and develop emerging technical and management solution opportunities to address USSOCOM, SOF AT&L, and PEO SOFSA needs in support of the SOF GLSS program.
• Work closely with solution development teams to ensure technical and management offerings are addressing the Command’s priorities.
• Plan, organize, and manage technical and management strategies, including determination of feasibility, scope, objectives, and resource requirements as they pertain to SOF GLSS.
• Ensure technical and management approaches are scalable, reliable, and secure.
• Evaluate new approaches and solutions and made recommendations for their use.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable solutions through existing GDIT relationships and with partners/vendors.
• Research and stay abreast of DoD program requirements and opportunities and information relevant to USSOCOM, Service Component, and TSOC needs.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications:

• Proven experience designing and leading strategy discussions centered on Technical and Management Execution
• Strong knowledge of DoD acquisition policy
• Strong knowledge of engineering and construction, management and operations, and services contracts for the DoD.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• M.B.A. or MS in an IT-related field
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience serving in key leadership roles supporting DoD or IC customers
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The likely salary range for this position is $178,500 - $241,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
