About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and data-savvy Projects Manager to join our Platform Initiatives & Operations Team. In this role, you will focus on analyzing operational and payment data, building and maintaining dashboards, and driving initiatives that optimize our payment processing workflows. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors to identify opportunities for efficiency, resolve operational challenges, and ensure our systems and processes are designed for scale. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to improving Priority’s payment operations through both data insights and hands-on execution.


Responsibilities: 

  • Leverage Excel, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), and/or SQL to analyze operational data, maintain dashboards, and present findings to stakeholders

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to scope, prioritize, and execute data-informed operational projects, ensuring alignment with business goals

  • Identify and recommend process improvements based on data insights to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in payment processing

  • Use data analysis to help identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and contribute to continuous platform and process improvement

What Success Looks Like:

Success in a Payment Operations Project Manager role involves effectively managing and optimizing payment processes, driving cross-functional initiatives, and ensuring that systems and workflows align with compliance, efficiency, and business goals.

  • Identifies, analyzes, and improves inefficient workflows within payment operations.

  • Ensures high levels of accuracy in transaction processing, reporting, and reconciliations.
    Clear documentation: Maintains thorough project plans, business requirements, and SOPs.

  • Provides timely project updates to stakeholders at various levels, including executives.

  • Builds strong relationships with internal partners and external vendors to support operational initiatives.



Candidate Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in working with operational data 

  • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and basic to intermediate formulas

  • Experience with a data visualization tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker; SQL skills a plus

  • Interest in payments, financial services, or transaction processing

  • A willingness to dive in and take ownership

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and think proactively

  • Understanding of ACH, card processing
