Job Description
Pay Rate: $100000 to $115000 per year.

Position Purpose:
The candidate is responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining the asset management program. Leads the asset management culture of change and promote collaboration with the operations department and engineering department. Manages and directs the electro-mechanical workforce and supporting contractors in ensuring the reliability, redundancy and readiness of all critical assets in providing uninterrupted delivery of safe drinking water. Must take a leadership role in promoting a culture of safe work practices.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of an effective risk mitigation program to optimize the life cycle cost of the asset and to improve equipment reliability.
- Establish a culture of continuous improvement by providing guidance and leadership in workforce and asset management.
- Work in collaboration with the production department to identify and implement asset management optimization in alignment with the business strategy.
- Determine predictive strategies to monitor equipment deterioration, prevent failures, and reduce impact on operation and maintenance cost.
- Optimize the inventory management by implementing industrial best practices and by reducing inventory costs based on risks.
- Manage project and/or provide support to implement effective industrial best-in-class methods • Prepare annual expense operating plan. Review & manage maintenance budget.
- Review weekly/monthly budget reports. Manages department to assure budgetary compliance.
- Manage & review maintenance training & safety compliance records. Assures supervisors schedule appropriate and adequate training.
- Provide recommendations, support and feedback to Engineering Department for above ground capital project.
- Submit requests for Capital expenditure authorizations and ensure Maintenance Department meets planned capital expenses and performance targets, maintains KPI’s.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicator agreed-upon with the asset stakeholder objectives. Based on results obtained, identify and implement changes to policy and practices.
- Conduct routine staff meetings to demonstrate achievement of best practice Key Performance Indicators.
- Ensure knowledge transfer through development of subordinates and ensures appropriate training for staff.
- Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance requirements.
- Implement strict maintenance practices to ensure the highest possible level of health and safety.
- Provides expertise for development or improvement Enterprise Asset Management System (EAM Infor).
- Assists other departments in the performance of related projects by providing the use of department manpower or machinery as required.
- Ensures compliance of all regulatory maintenance requirements for TCPA, DPCC, DOT, OSHA and other related regulations.
- On a rotating basis with other supervisors, the Manager serves on emergency duty, however he/she may be called upon to resolve operational problems which may arise at any time.
- The Manager remains abreast of the latest industrial developments relating to the electro-mechanical maintenance field and make recommendations for updating or improving existing equipment.
Qualifications
Education/Experience/Background:
- High School Diploma/GED is required.
- Technical certification(s) in related disciplines and/or college degree in Engineering preferred.
- 5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role in the electro-mechanical field.

- Effective interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities. <
