Nemours is looking for an Intern, Social Media to join our Nemours Children’s Health team in Florida or Delaware.
The Social Media intern will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day operations and production of content of the Nemours Children’s Health TikTok account. The Social Media Intern will also work on content for Instagram, Facebook, and X/Twitter as assigned. The Social Media Intern will work with our Social Media team and will directly report to the Social Media Specialist.
Essential Functions
1. Assist with the design and execution of social media posts with a focus on TikTok
2. Help create and edit short-form videos
3. Assist with photo/video content shoots
4. Support the team’s tracking of social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and projects for scalability
5. Support marketing communications team at live and online events
6. Perform social media marketing research
7. Respond to comments and direct messages on social media platforms
8. Brainstorm and research ideas for original content
9. Create compelling graphics to share across social channels
10. Write social media captions that speak to the company’s target audience
Requirements
HS Diploma or equivalent
Candidates must be in their 3rd of 4th year in a relevant college program such as Communications, Social Media, Marketing, Public Relations, Video/Photo Production, Digital Media
