Transportation Operations Technical Project Manager I - (2600587) Position Information 

The Texas Department of Transportation Houston District is looking for a motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our Transportation Operations Programs Office, working directly with the Director of Transportation Operations. This role focuses on planning and developing several important annual programs aimed at reducing fatalities on our state roadways. You’ll have the opportunity to help turn safety ideas into real projects, explore innovative design approaches, and work closely with our district maintenance teams to bring new concepts from planning into action. This is a lead worker role that also includes helping guide Transportation Operations funding priorities and managing the district’s unfunded project list. Every project you touch will play a role in improving safety, mobility, and quality of life across the Houston District.
