Mobile Manager - Component Repower Solutions

As our On-Site Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing our Component Repower projects on-site, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Vestas' safety and quality standards on-site, ensuring compliance with all regulations and guidelines.
• Organize and monitor site progress, maintaining project schedules and timelines to meet objectives.
• Coordinate the readiness of components and equipment for installation, ensuring seamless integration into project workflows.
• Manage all documentation related to installation, completion, and invoicing, in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Act as a positive representative of Vestas and the project when liaising with customers and subcontractors.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any issues or delays promptly.
• Provide on-site supervision and support for various project activities, including site preparation, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate closely with subcontractors to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Conduct audits of lifting operations to ensure adherence to safety protocols and risk assessments.
• Take ownership of project performance and finances, accurately tracking expenses and reporting deviations as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement, discussing ideas with the team and leadership.
• Support the quality department in addressing non-conformance reports (NCRs) related to installation activities.

 

Qualifications

• Degree in business, operations, or project management preferred.
• Familiarity with Vestas platforms (v47, v82, v90, v100) is advantageous.
• Ability to travel 90-100% of the time.
• Demonstrated experience leading large teams in complex projects, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office suite.
• 2-3 years of management experience, with a focus on service or project management.
