The Production Trainer plays a dual role within either Production Clothing or Production Other teams, primarily functioning as a Production Associate while also taking on the responsibility of training new and existing Production Associates. This ensures that all Production team members are versatile, proficient in their role and well-prepared to contribute effectively, supporting the achievement of company goals and helping us fulfill our mission. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 



Process Donations – 





Accurately and efficiently sorts, grades, prices, and racks all donations assigned to Production Clothing or Production Other (shoes, linens, accessories, bric brac, toys and electronics), in adherence to production standards.  





Ensures that all products sent to the retail sales floor meet quality standards. 





Standards and System Knowledge –  





Maintains a thorough understanding of the types of acceptable items, the tagging system, pricing standards, and production standards to maintain consistency and quality. 





Sale Promotions Awareness –  





Stays informed about weekly discount days, including identifying the “New to You” color tag and the “Clearance” color tag of the week and other store promotions or special sales. 





Flexibility and Responsiveness –  





Demonstrates a high degree of flexibility and responsiveness to meet store needs.  





Exhibits schedule flexibility to accommodate new hire training. 





Rotates through various production areas weekly, daily, or even hourly, as necessary.   





Reports to and responds to the team’s Assistant Store Manager to ensure there is adequate product ready for Retail Associates to run to the retail sales floor.  





Provides assistance with “rag out,” as directed. 





Production Associate Training–  





Leads the Production Clothing or Production Other Associate training, including new hire training, re-training, and cross-training of employees from other areas of the store.  





Ensures all Production Clothing or Production Other Associates are well-equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to complete their roles effectively. 





Clearly communicates performance expectations to associates, providing ongoing support, guidance and feedback to foster a productive and positive work environment. 





Safety –  





Immediately reports theft, injuries, near misses, unsafe equipment or conditions to management. 





Promotes a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and encouraging associates to do the same. 





Additional Duties or Responsibilities – 





Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by a member of the Store Management Team. 





Provides support to other departments as needed or as directed by a member of the Store Management Team. 





Complies with all Company established policies and standards.

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS: 



High School diploma or equivalent preferred 





Minimum of six months production experience preferred 





Peer-coaching or training experience preferred 





Scheduling flexibility 





Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English 





Adherence to consistent attendance and weekly hours expectations based on full-time/part-time/seasonal nonexempt(hourly) status
