Location: Greenbelt, MD – Onsite
Clearance Requirement: Top Secret (TS) – eligible for TS/SCI
We are currently looking to fill the Sr. Compliance Analyst role. Responsibilities & other details are listed below:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide expert guidance and leadership on export compliance and enforcement under ITAR and AECA regulations administered by the Department of State.
- Review and oversee registrant compliance, enforcement cases, and administrative investigations.
- Support law enforcement agencies on criminal investigations related to export violations.
- Maintain and update compliance databases and manage interagency coordination.
- Conduct outreach and training to industry and government partners on export compliance.
- Interpret export control laws and regulations, ensuring timely referral and resolution of violations.
ELIGIBILITY & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, with 10+ years of demonstrated expertise in export compliance and enforcement related to ITAR and AECA.
- Deep and authoritative knowledge of U.S. export control laws, particularly the Department of State’s regulations and policies.
- Proven ability to independently manage complex compliance programs and lead special projects with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear, well-reasoned reports and briefings for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with a track record of prioritizing and managing multiple concurrent assignments under strict deadlines.
- Experience engaging with government agencies, law enforcement, and private sector stakeholders at various levels.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and common office technologies.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Must currently hold, or be eligible to obtain, a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
