Clinical Rehab Supervisor, Home Health, Full-Time, Bronson at HomeUnder general supervision from the unit manager and/or director, the Rehabilitation Coordinator’s priority is to function as rehab team leader and clinical liaison with staff therapists, physicians, and management, providing continuity of leadership day-to-day. The Rehabilitation Coordinator acts as a role model, mentor, coach, and resource person to staff to ensure that all unit standards are maintained and to encourage a team environment. The incumbent is involved in assisting managers to attract, develop, maintain, and retain qualified therapy staff members. Duties may include assisting with hiring, orientation, monitoring and evaluating performance, problem solving, employee counseling, staffing, and payroll. The Rehabilitation Coordinator also educates the therapy staff on documentation standards and processes to meet all regulatory requirements. In addition to duties involving unit personnel, the Rehabilitation Coordinator serves as a contact for internal and external customers. He/she is responsible for creating an environment, which fosters positive customer service and meets all quality standards, implementing new and monitoring ongoing processes. This role provides opportunity for leadership succession. Employees providing direct patient care must demonstrate competencies specific to the population served.
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy, or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (must be in good standing and valid in the state of Michigan); and 2 years clinical experience required
Prefer representation from each discipline – OT, PT, SLP – within the manager, Supervisors, Rehabilitation educator and Rehabilitation IS facilitator of Bronson Rehabilitation Services
Must have Michigan driver’s license.
Driving your own vehicle on a regularly scheduled basis to perform business on behalf of Bronson is required for this position and will require successfully pass of MVR check after an offer of employment has been made but prior to the employee’s start date. Proof of valid auto insurance on that vehicle that will be driven while on duty for Bronson is required. It is the employee’s responsibility to submit auto insurance renewals before current coverage expires to their supervisor. It is also the employee’s responsibility to update their auto insurance coverage with Bronson if a different vehicle will be driven to perform business on behalf of Bronson.
Prefer to be a member of at least one rehabilitation professional organization and hold discipline-specific license in the
State of Michigan.
BLS is required within 3 months of hire.

Work which produces high levels of mental/visual fatigue, e.g., interactive and repetitive or small detailed work requiring alertness and concentration for sustained periods of time, the operation of and full attention to a personal computer or CRT between 40 and 70 percent of the time.
Involves regularly lifting of bulky or moderately heavy weights (i.e., up to 50 pounds), and occasionally assisting with heavier tasks or expending the equivalent effort in pushing, pulling, or otherwise handling material, equipment, and other objects.
