We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented Marketing Strategy & Financial Analytics Manager to join our growing Marketing Insights & Intelligence team. Under the direction of the Sr. Director of Brand Performance, this role will focus on developing various financial models such as Return on Investment (ROI), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value (LTV), Net Present Value (NPV), Economic Profit and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) that objectively evaluate the impact of marketing investments on business outcomes at scale. This role provides a unique opportunity to combine robust financial analyses into strategic marketing decisions across brand experience (BX), customer experience (CX) and User Experience (UX), that inform financial planning and ongoing investment decisions.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models that evaluate and forecast the financial performance of commercial marketing activities (e.g., marketing campaigns, marketing channel mix, loyalty programs, e-commerce solutions, new digital solutions/products/services) on business outcomes (e.g., revenue, market share, customer acquisition, retention and renewal)
Create and drive adoption of financial measurement standards for marketing investments across the enterprise
Leverage financial analyses to inform the optimal channel mix for marketing campaigns and identify what channels are generating the greatest return for each vertical business
Collaborate with finance, marketing leaders and other key stakeholders to gather data, create budgets and forecasts, and understand investment needs that align with business objectives
Support the marketing LRP process by creating financial reports that identify marketing investments that generate the best long-term economic value
Prepare detailed reports and presentations that communicate financial insights and recommendations to senior management
Monitor and analyze ongoing marketing projects to ensure alignment with financial objectives and projected outcomes
Assist in the development of annual budgets and long-term financial planning for marketing teams
Stay updated on industry trends, economic conditions, and competitive landscape to inform financial analyses
Identify potential financial risks and opportunities within marketing investments and propose actionable solutions.
Support ad-hoc financial analysis requests and participate in cross-functional projects as needed
Occasional required travel for meetings
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA (finance, strategy, M&A) and/or relevant certification (e.g., CFA) is preferred
5+ years proven experience in a similar or adjacent roles in marketing analytics, finance, or business strategy
5+ years building financial models (e.g., ROI, NPV, LTV, CAC, Economic Profit, and IRR) that evaluate impact of marketing investments on business outcomes
2+ years experience in Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences or related industry preferred
Skills and Knowledge
Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analytical techniques
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (financial formulas) and/or financial modeling software
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience using data tools such as Google Sheets, SQL, Python / R, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
Experience with marketing tools such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4) , HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce (CRM and campaign tracking)
Understanding of digital marketing metrics (CPC, CPM, CTR, etc.)
