Job Description

• Coordinating and monitoring the flow of production through internal and external processes and providing information to the customer.
• Record and maintain customer sales orders by working directly with a variety of customers via phone calls, fax, e-mail, or electronic purchase orders. 

• Record and escalate as necessary customer complaints, returns, and non-conforming parts. 
• Maintain close contact with customers to ensure focused timely responses including customer inquiries and delivery. 
• Process releases and prepare orders for shipping.   
• Track expedites and premium freight. 
• Contact carrier representatives to make shipping arrangements and issue instructions for loading products 
• Ensure all ASN’s are entered in specified time frames while verifying accuracy of documentation 
• Ensure hot jobs are handled with care and urgency while being expedited through the department.  

• Need to cover after hours and weekends as necessary to support our automotive growth. 

• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or GED required 
• Sales/Marketing or Materials Management education preferred 

• Ability to work independently  
• Strong ability to prioritize and organize workload 
• Detail orientated  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to build trust and confidence with customers, employees, and leaders 

• Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, etc.) especially Excel 
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment 
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds 
• Forklift certification preferred
