HR Generalist

• Perform confidential administrative functions to support the HR team
• Organize and streamline onboarding processes to ensure efficient HR operations

• Manage the U.S. compensation and benefits program in coordination with headquarters in Germany
• Interact with global payroll providers to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing
• Provide advice on company policies, procedures, and documentation
• Monitor EEO compliance, ensuring adherence to Federal, State, and company employment regulations
• Facilitate leadership training on regulatory HR topics (e.g., FMLA, FLSA, ADAA, EEOC)
• Facilitate performance reviews and support talent development, including selecting and booking training programs
• Manage leaves of absence, short-term disability programs, FMLA requests, and related personnel policies
• Support recruiting and staffing activities, e.g. interview scheduling
• Drive associate engagement activities, including recognition programs, community outreach, and wellness events
• Lead mental wellbeing initiatives, advocating for resources and leadership development in mental health

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR generalist or similar role
• Solid knowledge of US employment laws, HR compliance, and best practices
• Experience with payroll systems and compensation/benefits administration is a plus
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
