About The Role

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Kitchen Utility team member to join our Operations department on a full-time, hourly basis. This critical role ensures the cleanliness, functionality, and organization of the kitchen, contributing to an efficient and safe working environment. If you have a strong work ethic and an eye for detail, this role provides an opportunity to support the creative efforts of our culinary team while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness.

What You'll Do

• Ensure all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are clean, sanitized, and organized following company and health department standards.
• Assist in the proper disposal of waste and manage recycling in accordance with company policies.
• Provide general support to kitchen staff by restocking supplies, organizing storage, and maintaining inventory levels.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machinery to ensure proper functionality.
• Assist in minor food prep work as needed, while adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Support the team by responding to additional kitchen needs during busy service periods.
• Follow and enforce workplace safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience in a kitchen or utility role is an asset but not required.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• A commitment to cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• A positive attitude and a strong team-oriented mindset.
