Job Description 

Title: Director of Patient Care Services (PCS) Recruitment 

 

Department: PCS Operations 

 

Compensation: Up to $175,000 

 

Location: Melville, NY with local travel to other Always Compassionate Health offices 

 

Overview: 

Always Compassionate Health is seeking a Director of Patient Care Services (PCS) to oversee the recruitment strategy and operations for Home Health Aides and Patient Care Associates. Including collaborating with other division administrators to assess staffing needs and ensuring the organization has a readily available supply of qualified skilled care providers to meet patient care demand. 

 

This role’s primary responsibility makes it possible to identify qualified Home Health Aides and Patient Care Associates whose duties in the field make it possible to fill current contracts and client needs throughout the assigned region. 

 

***You must reside in or near Melville, NY or be willing to commute daily, to be considered for the position. The position requires a combination of office time and local travel within the region for weekly in-person meetings and recruitment activities. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Developing and implementing a recruitment strategy aligned with the Always Compassionate Health's goals and needs.  

  • Leading a team of recruiters and support staff responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates.  

  • Identifying and cultivating relationships with sources of potential skilled care candidates such as schools, job fairs, and online job boards.  

  • Overseeing the interview and selection process to ensure Always Compassionate Health hires qualified candidates.  

  • Ensuring that all recruitment processes and practices comply with relevant laws and regulations, such as equal employment opportunity (EEO) laws and healthcare industry standards.  

  • Analyzing recruitment data to track key metrics like time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and retention rates. Using data insights to make improvements in the recruitment process.  

  • Collaborating with division administrators to understand staffing needs and priorities, as well as with HR to coordinate the onboarding process.
