The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.

40 hours.  No weekends.  No Holidays.

We are seeking a compassionate and motivate Registered Nurse to fill a dual role in the care of patients with Multiple Sclerosis and other neurologic conditions.  MS can impact daily function and quality of life.  There is not cure for MS, but treatments can help manage symptoms and slow disease progression. The position includes hands on care as part of an infusion team administering neuro-stabilizing intravenous and Subcutaneous medication. The RN works closely with our team of specialists including neurologists, nurse practitioners and other nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care and treatment coordination. Key responsibilities include infusion care, patient education, team collaboration, quality improvement and communication with patients via phone and MyChart. Requires RN with a current NYS License and minimum of 1-year professional nursing experience.
