Self Direction Assistant (SDA) - Home Based Services

Program: Home Based Services

Location: Downers Grove, IL (Cary/McHenry/Huntley/Spring Grove)

Hours: Full-time, Weekly 9AM-4PM with some flexibility, 40 hours/week

Pay: $53,380/yr

Clearbrook is a non-profit, social services agency that specializes in providing innovative services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, such as Autism and Down Syndrome.

The SDA manages a caseload of clients in the Home Based Services program. The SDA ensures that the clients and their families are receiving the services necessary from the state, and the SDA is also responsible for interviewing, hiring, and supervising the direct support staff who work one-on-one with the clients in their caseload.

The SDA must have:

• Bachelor's in human services or similar is the minimum education requirement for this position
• At least one year of experience working directly with individuals who have intellectual / developmental disabilities
• Driver's license and valid car insurance with applicant's name on declaration page
