Job Title: Golf Shop Retail Manager
Job Pay Range: $20.00-$25.00/hr.

As a member of the Golf Retail Management team, you will manage and merchandise the Golf Retail Shops engaged in selling specific, related or general lines of merchandise by performing the following duties

What you will be doing:
• Oversees and manages all personnel, operational training and financial aspects of the golf retail department.
• Manages retail staff in all areas of customer service and maintaining all service standards.
• Supervises employees engaged in sales work, taking of inventories, reconciling cash with sales receipts, keeping operating records or preparing daily record of transactions for Accounting.
• Communicates directly with the Director of Golf, Head Golf Professional and the Retail Cost Controller in all aspects of the business.
• Participates in any retail merchandise computer training or any other business related training as directed by the Director of Golf, Head Golf Professional or the Retail Cost Controller.
• Ensures compliance of employees with established security, sales and record keeping procedures and practices, as well as policies and procedures established by the Director of Golf, Head Golf Professional or the Retail Cost Controller.
• Responsible for the inventory and control systems of the golf shops
• Conducts regularly scheduled inventories; responsible for explanation of all inventory variances.
• Budgetary responsibility for both labor expenses and sales revenue.
• Assists Head Golf Professional with all special orders and follow through including Personal Use Discount orders.
• Participates in advertising and marketing programs for Golf Retail.
• Creates and implements golf shop promotions and events.
• Keeps abreast of trends and best sellers in the golf industry.
• Conducts department meetings and lineups regularly to relay pertinent Hotel/department information including daily line-ups.
• Responsible for visual upkeep of the shops including maintenance of displays to include presentation, cleanliness and stock levels.
• Attends weekly Golf Operations meetings to review line-ups and plan for upcoming business.
• Responsible for web store orders and manages golf retail merchandise on the e-store.
• Responsible for the ordering and receiving of golf shops’ supplies.
• Assists Head Golf Professional with group sales including meeting with the client, selecting merchandise, contracting, ordering, receiving, delivering and billing.
• Responsible for local embroidery duties including scheduling pick up/drop off and operational records.
• Responsible for overall motivation and attitude of golf retail staff.
• Responsible for following and enforcing all hotel and department security rules and disciplining employees when needed.
• Assists with recruiting and hiring of golf retail staff.
• Oversees customer returns/exchanges.
• Responsible for end of the month paperwork including non-tax form, inventory transfers and damages.
• Responsible for maintaining golf retail merchandise levels and receipts from the Oasi
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum of two years’ experience in hospitality with a minimum of two years retail experience
• Valid Driver’s License required.
◦ Any employee driving a Broadmoor vehicle must be 18 years or older
◦ Willingness to train to become forklift certified (previous experience operating a forklift a plus)
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
