As a Staff Machine Learning Engineer, your primary focus will be on enhancing our Human Machine Detector and building out backend systems for live coaching. This pivotal role represents our first dedicated Machine Learning Engineer position, providing you with the unique opportunity to spearhead growth in this domain and potentially lead a team in the future. Your responsibilities will involve leveraging machine learning techniques to optimize and advance the capabilities of our systems, ensuring an efficient and effective human-machine interaction.
Our current technology stack includes NodeJS with Typescript, Ruby, Postgres, Google Cloud Platform, and FreeSWITCH.
Candidates must be based in the USA. This position is not open to other countries at this time.
Salary: The base salary range is $200,000 - $220,000. If you're selected, we'll make an offer within this range that matches the experience you're coming with. We respect your time and don't intend to waste it.

Must Have

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience as a software engineer / data science / data engineer
• 2+ years dedicated to training and deploying ML models in production
• Minimum of 1+ years in an architect, principal, or staff engineer role
• Proven track record of owning products and features through their lifecycles - from discovery to deployment
• Familiar with Unix shell scripting
• Machine Learning Engineering Experience
• Machine learning library framework experience like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, scikit-learn, and similar libraries.
• Expertise in areas like NLP, Deep Learning, and Large Language Models.

Nice To Have

• Experience with cloud infrastructure programming with one of AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines
• Prior experience working in startup environments
