Our Organization and Mission: The Office represents the State of Florida in state and federal civil and criminal courts, from trial courts to the Supreme Court of the United States.
Position Summary: This position is in the Office of the Attorney General within the Criminal Appeals unit in Tampa, Florida.
Pay: $17.00 hourly.
Qualifications:
Two years of secretarial or clerical work experience; or
A high school diploma or its equivalent.
The Work You Will Do: The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Under general supervision, operates scanning and other reproduction equipment for the duplication, storage, and retrieval of records.
- Performs clerical work requiring sustained high-volume entry of date into a computer system.
- This is an entry level position with duties primarily limited to scanning of files, storage of files, and quality control of files that have been scanned.
- Prepares files for imaging process.
- Determines the correct quality of each document scanned by paying attention to clarity and accuracy of documents.
- Ensures proper documentation and integrity of scanned images.
- Ensures completeness of files.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
