Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Private Duty Nursing

Cincinnati Children’s is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses to provide one-on-one care for pediatric patients in their homes.

Starting Pay: $23.00/hour (minimum)
Schedule Options: Full-time or part-time | Day and night shifts available

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver direct care to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults in a home care setting
  • Travel with patient to school and/or medical appointments as needed
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered
  • Contribute to patient assessments and care planning
  • Monitor and report patient responses to interventions
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality care
  • Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and accreditation standards
  • Provide culturally sensitive care that respects each family’s background and needs

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a practical nursing (LPN) certificate or vocational nurse (LVN) program
  • Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Novice to competent in subject matter and skills
  • Home care experience preferred
