St. Ann’s Community is looking for a per diem individual to the Life Enrichment team at St. Ann’s at Cherry Ridge Independent Housing and Assisted Living. The primary purpose of your job is to assist the Resident Services Manager and Sr. Life Enrichment Associate in the coordination, development and implementation of the activities at St. Ann’s at Cherry Ridge Independent Housing, Assisted Living, to include the Glen and Rainier Grove.

Job Description:
• Collaborate and coordinate with other team members to provide diverse and meaningful leisure opportunities and individualized interventions to residents.
• Plan diversional recreation and lead leisure programs using motivational techniques encouraging active involvement.
• Submit programs for your scheduled shift to the Sr. Life Enrichment Associate by the 15th of each month.
• Plan and organize supplies and materials needed for programming 1week in advance.
• Assist in shopping for materials as needed.
• Assist in the Resident Assessment process as needed.
• Supports volunteers and other staff providing clear direction and adequate support with leisure activities.
• Provide clear and concise directions and adaptations as needed to maximize independence in recreation and leisure activities.
• Report changes in resident physical or emotional status to appropriate personnel (Nurse on duty).
• Exercise care and proper use of materials and equipment.
• Maintain records, such as attendance and inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Identify ways to improve departmental productivity and efficiency.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings and educational opportunities.
• Transport residents to and from events and outings.
• Maintain clean working environment.
Candidate Requirements:
• Preferred 2 year degree in related field or 2 years of full time experience working with Seniors Preferred
• Fitness experience Required
