POSITION SUMMARY
Administrative Assistant will assist with administrative duties and responsibilities at Fincantieri Marinette Marine
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist with and maintain relationships with employees and visitors who contact the facility.
- Read and analyze incoming mail, memos, letters, and reports to determine their significance and distribute appropriately to departments.
- Check in visitors through the PASS system.
- Answer and direct phone calls or take messages for appropriate parties.
- Make copies of documentation.
- Intake requests from employees and distribute to the appropriate parties.
- Liaise with internal staff at all levels.
- Comply with all safety and health regulations.
- Follow company procedures and protocols.
- Perform general administrative duties such as but not limited to: filing, photocopying, sorting and distributing correspondence maintaining database records.
- Facilitating the gift and dessert purchase for the FMM Retirement Program.
- Coordinating with backup’s for lunch relief daily.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Qualified candidate has a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Some college preferred and/or 2 plus years of experience as an administrative assistant in an office setting. Must have strong Microsoft Office Suites computer skills.
SKILLS:
- Proficient software such as Microsoft Suite
- Ability to clearly communicate and direct questions
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Must have strong organizational and time management skills
- Must have the ability to maintain a professional demeanor
- Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must have strong ability to follow all safety standards
- Must have the ability to take direction from others
