Job Description/Position Overview:

 

This position allows telecommuting.  The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at above-mentioned location.

 

Export Control:

Position Summary: 

• Lead and manage project implementation team comprising of Boeing employees and System Integrators at different business units and sites
• Implement comprehensive SAP Analytics backend/frontend solutions (incl. visualization of appealing reports and executive dashboards)
• Design Data Analytics solutions based on the business requirements comprising SAP and Non-SAP data sources and technologies
• Working with the business, define how and when BI tools are used, investments optimized, and rationalized in according with the reporting and analytics strategy
• Providing best practices in Business Intelligence reporting to drive the development of business data models
• Provide subject matter expertise, design expertise and SAP data analytics solutions demonstrating thorough understanding of SAP data structures and relationships across different data objects.
• Provide leadership and mentorship for best practices to other team members.
• Develop functional specifications for configurations and customizations which include reports, integrations, conversions, and enhancements
• Ensure the solution built is scalable to high volume, flexible for future enhancements, and upgradable into next generation solutions
• Developing new business intelligence standards and how that applies across all data warehouse at Boeing
• Developing, maintaining, and maturing a data governance model/framework
• Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress
• Follow change management process and prepare/maintain proper documentation related to requirements, design, architecture and solution.

 

 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)

• 6-8 years of experience in implementing SAP BW/BI solutions experience with IT strategies, solution, and enterprise architecture
• Experienced in delivering 5+ full cycle SAP implementation projects preferably in lead roles.
• Experienced in backend development on SAP BW platforms (Data sphere, BW on HANA, BW/4HANA) in combination with extraction from various data sources (such as Excel, SQL databases, S/4 or other systems and applications)
• Experienced in frontend development with SAP tools (SAP Analytics Cloud, Embedded SAC, Analysis for Office)
• Experienced in SAP O2C, P2P and Pln2Pr data model design and thorough understanding of the data relationships between various data objects and tables.
• HVR and SLT performance optimization concepts.
• Experienced in HANA Programming including SQL scripting, CDS Views
• Profound BI project lifecycle and go-live experience
• Project management experience including project planning, task management and prioritization, and release management
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills (oral and written), with the ability to successfully interact with a wide variety of stakeholders 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Education:  Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science
• 10 years of experience in implementing SAP BW/BI solutions experience with IT strategies, solution and enterprise architecture (preferred)
• Experienced in delivering 5+ years full cycle SAP implementation projects specializing in data analytics track, preferably in lead roles (preferred)
