Enlisted Design is looking for a marketing / business professional to join our team, based out of our Salt Lake City location. As a design studio & brand incubator, Enlisted humanizes data with intentional design to create products and branded experiences that consumers crave. Founded in Oakland in 2008, we expanded to SLC in late 2018. Our team is a one-of-a-kind blend of designers and strategists, thinkers and entrepreneurs who love creating next-level shit.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing & New Business, this individual will support corporate communications programs and business development initiatives in furthering Enlisted’s position as the best design-experience studio in the world. The ideal candidate will have both marketing and business experience and be interested and capable of handling a blended role. He/she/they will be a self-starter with the ability to work in a dynamic environment and in close collaboration with Enlisted leadership and clients alike.

Core New Business Responsibilities:

• Support the creation of project proposals / scope of work documents for inbound new business leads; taking receipt of client brief or RFP, synthesizing ask(s) and working with the appropriate Enlisted discipline leads (i.e. Strategy, Visual Design, Industrial Design, etc.) to respond promptly & timely
• Support the assembly of capabilities decks and / or pitch presentations
• Assist with daily administrative duties

Core Marketing Responsibilities:

• Identify and track all awards, PR and media opportunities; coordinating with Enlisted discipline leads to identify note-worthy projects on a rolling basis throughout the year and managing the application & submission process
• Build and maintain productive relationships with members of the media, design industry, etc.
• Partner with the Enlisted client services team to track when project case studies are ready to be developed and follow up to ensure assets are created according to the necessary timeline for announcing externally
• Support the creation of case study copy content; interviewing team members to understand the challenge, strategy, approach, and results related to the particular project; publish case studies to website
• Create, curate and manage timely, relevant social content (imagery, video, text) for Enlisted owned channels
• Monitor activity across Enlisted website and social platforms and optimize methods to amplify awareness & maximize engagement; be an advocate for Enlisted by conversing appropriately, building the online community
• Development of studio thought leadership, including editing of Medium employee posts and op-ed articles
• Support the Oakland studio manager to plan, organize, and host SLC-based events throughout the year
• Assist with daily administrative duties

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant experience in marketing, business development and / or project management
• Passion for design, writing, and entrepreneurship
• Understanding of basic business development processes
• Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and visual formats
• Proficiency in social media and staying informed with emerging technologies / trends
• Strong project management and multitasking skills, extremely detail oriented
• Strong initiative, commitment, work ethic and a can-do approach
• Ability to work both independently and in a highly collaborative team environment
• Familiarity with Google Drive, project management software (Asana), and website editor platforms (Squarespace); rudimentary graphic design skills a plus (i.e. Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
