Lydech Thermal Acoustical Solutions (TAS) manufactures industrial thermal insulating solutions, and thermal and acoustical barriers for heat abatement and sound dampening applications. Lydall TAS serves a number of markets with the majority of products sold to original equipment manufacturers and tier-one suppliers. Lydech TAS offers a full line of innovative engineered products to assist in noise and heat abatement within the automotive and industrial markets. The business manufactures acoustical damping and thermal insulating solutions comprised of fiber and metal based composite product constructions. These products are typically found in the interior (dash insulators), underbody (wheel well, fuel tank, exhaust) and under hood (engine compartment) of passenger vehicles, heavy duty trucks, recreational vehicles as well as in other industrial applications. The segment employs approximately ~1400 employees with operations in the U.S., Germany, France and China.

Job Summary: Responsible for the overall repair and maintenance of blanking, trimming, and forms dies (auto and hand-transfer), pick head repair, and to support the maintenance department as needed regarding minor reactive repairs and preventive measures
Responsible for overall repair and maintenance of blanking, trimming and forms dies (auto and hand-transfer).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain quality and adjustments to die board cutouts for stamping
- Build and repair die boards
- Eliminate any problems pertaining to die boards
- Work with machine operators to resolve any issues with die boards
- Orders die board supplies
- Ensure safety in repair area
- Maintain good housekeeping at all times
- Support the Maintenance department as needed for minor repair, reactive, and proactive support
- Serve as an active participant in LSS programs that promote continuous improvement
- Immediately report any unsafe act or condition.
- Must adhere to all company and location policies and safety rules
- Must be able to work extended hours when required
- All other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Required for Consideration as a Candidate:
- High school, GED or equivalent experience.
- Must be able to read and understand English.
- Knowledge of die board repair equipment.
- Must be able to read and understand English.
- Computer experience required
