Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: The NDT technician performs non-destructive inspection of components to ensure compliance with Company’s quality system, specifications, and customer requirements. Non-destructive testing disciplines include penetrant testing and radiography testing.

- Must follow production specifications in regard to assembly of new manufactured parts.
- Maintain department safety and housekeeping standards.
- Use of tracking systems

Level I

- Be proficient and qualified in proper inspection procedures such as but not limited to incoming,
in process (hidden damage) and final.
- Ensure that the equipment used to perform the inspection is in good working condition and that
the calibration is current, as applicable.
- Know how to read and use calibrated tooling and equipment such as but not limited to vernier calipers,
height gages, pi-tapes, plug gages, dial calipers, dial indicators, protractor, radius gages, hardness tester,
dial bore gage, thickness gage, omni gages, go/no go gages, and micrometers.
- Upon receiving items in this repair station for maintenance, verify that the part number and serial number
of the items match the customer’s paperwork.
