Our team is creative, strategic, and collaborative, dedicated to delivering exceptional results on a global stage.

Job Description

The Opportunity:

Mattel is seeking an accomplished and strategic Senior Event Producer to join our Global Corporate Events team. In this leadership role, you’ll oversee complex, high-profile corporate events from concept to execution, guiding the creative vision, production strategy, and operational delivery. You’ll partner with senior leadership, internal stakeholders, and global partners to design experiences that align with business goals and strengthen Mattel’s brand and culture.

This role requires a seasoned professional who combines creative vision with logistical excellence — a leader who can elevate experiences, influence outcomes, and deliver impact through expertly produced events.

What Your Impact Will Be:

  • Lead end-to-end event production for global and executive-level meetings, conferences, and special events.
  • Partner with senior leadership and internal stakeholders to shape event strategy, define key messages, and align creative direction with business objectives.
  • Oversee multiple event producers and cross-functional partners, providing mentorship, guidance, and quality assurance across all stages of production.
  • Manage full event lifecycles — including concept development, budgeting, production timelines, logistics, vendor management, and on-site execution.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage global vendor and agency partnerships to deliver best-in-class experiences within budget.
  • Oversee event budgets, financial forecasting, purchase orders, and invoicing; ensure fiscal accountability and strategic allocation of resources.
  • Develop innovative event solutions leveraging technology, design, and storytelling to elevate attendee engagement.
  • Conduct site inspections and assess venues based on strategic goals, cost efficiency, and guest experience.
  • Serve as the lead producer on-site, ensuring flawless execution, brand consistency, and seamless guest experiences.
  • Provide post-event analysis, performance metrics, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in event production, live experience design, or corporate meeting management.
  • Demonstrated success leading high-profile corporate or global events with executive-level audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills — able to coach and inspire junior producers and project teams.
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional creative sensibility and operational discipline.
  • Superior organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with a strong executive presence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with Cvent, project management, or production tools preferred.
  • Strong budget management, negotiation, and vendor relations experience.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
  • Demonstrated growth mindset — proactive, adaptable, and always striving for excellence.
