Job Description
Material Management Specialist I
Location: Central Office
Salary: Up to $42,387.28 based on education and experience.
Full Time /Part Time: Full Time
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
Primary Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Position Description: This position is part of the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) mailroom team who receives and distributes all mail and packages for the OSDH Central Office. Additionally, this position will perform all the local mail and package collection and distribution utilizing the OSDH mail van. This position provides superb customers service following OSDH mission, vision and values.
Duties:
- Assists with incoming and outgoing mail service.
- Sorts and distributes incoming mail and packages for distribution to the appropriate OSDH department or program area.
- Provides internal and external customer service in alignment with OSDH core values.
- Processes outgoing mail and packages accurately.
- Operates postage equipment, printers, scanners, and other equipment including specialized software.
- Completes the local mail distribution and collection route in a state vehicle.
- Ensures the mailroom state vehicle is maintained in accordance with State and OSDH policies and procedures.
- Maintains a clean and organized working environment.
- Proficiency in using Windows 10, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Supports OSDH Central Office copy paper orders and distribution to program areas.
- Other duties as assigned.
