Caladwich Consulting is seeking a Project Manager with broadened experience in military and commercial supply operations to provide effective full-time supervision and the technical expertise to manage the project and coordinate the inventory management, movement, shipment, packing/unpacking of material and processing material for DLA Disposition Services.


Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide effective full-time supervision and the technical expertise to manage the project and coordinate the inventory management

• Manage the movement, shipment, packing/unpacking of material and processing material for DLA Disposition Services.

• Perform QA checks that the correct material is scheduled, pulled, inventoried, packed and stowed, unit of issue is correct, quantity and material condition is acceptable, and material is properly maintained.

• Provide Analysis and document returning tools, equipment and material are unloaded, sorted, inventoried, inspected and stowed. 

• Produce reports for disposal actions on unserviceable material and that material remains on the deck for a minimum amount of time no longer than 24 hours.

• Define and Estimate Task, collect task completion status information, maintain appropriate schedules, and communicate project status to the team and management.

• Create and maintain system roadmaps, project plans, and product and release backlogs.

• Ensure all NAVCONSTGRU TOA material is stored and maintained in the NCG-2 warehouse consisting of over 90,000 square feet. Minimum inventories of 10% (20,500 line items) of total material is required to be conducted monthly.


Requirements

Qualifications / Required Experience:

• Preferred experience with as a project supervisor or production control clerk in a military or commercial operation within a warehouse environment.

• Ability to lead complex teams and work collaboratively with team members to ensure project success.

• Preferred experience or general understanding of Navy Supply procedures and be familiar with the NAVSUP P-485.

• Relative experience with various shipping and receiving documents such as GBL, TCN’s and DD form 1149 used for shipping and receiving material.

• Relative Experience with all aspects of DOD supply operations and have a thorough knowledge of U.S. Navy Expeditionary Seabee Supply and DOD inventory procedures.

• Strong communication skills are necessary for effectively gathering requirements, leading workshops, and providing status updates to stakeholders.

• Experience with/supporting Federal Government preferred

• Demonstrated expertise in various MS Office applications utilizing Word, Excel and Power Point and MS Teams. 


Other Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Business Administration, Management or relative field of study. 

• PMP certification preferred (Active) 

• 7+ years of Project Management experience.

• 5+ years of experience in Supply and Warehouse Support Services
