NTT DATA is looking for high-achieving team players that are quickly adaptable to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to work with our global client in Houston, TX (open to 100% remote).

Responsibilities:

• Act as a mentor and leader to junior team members.
• Acquire deep understanding of business problems and translate business requirements/goals into analytics and machine learning models.
• Communicate insights in a clear, actionable way to users, managers, and senior leaders.
• Work in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment on a wide range of problems.
• Implement best practices and promote continuous improvement.
• Consider the client and existing limitations when selecting the best possible solution for the current problem.
• Explain complex information in layman’s terms to be understood by a non-technical audience.
• Solve complex problems by implementing analytical, machine learning, or deep learning solutions.
• Deploy and monitor machine learning model

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
• 3+ years of experience in a data science related field.
• 3+ years of experience programming with Python or Scala.
• SQL
• Unitary testing knowledge
• Linux Command Line
• Control versioning
• Regular Expressions
• Understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
• Willingness to teach others and learn new techniques.
• Proven ability to problem solve.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
