Job Summary
The UPS Healthcare Global Enterprise Account Manager leads a global, cross‑functional team responsible for managing the commercial relationship with some of UPS Healthcare’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturing customers. This role has full accountability for driving growth across regions and business units by developing and executing a coordinated global account strategy.

He/She serves as the primary commercial leader for these Enterprise Accounts as part of the Global Partnership Group (GPG), ensuring alignment across international stakeholders and delivering a unified customer experience. This position oversees service and sales activity across UPS's full healthcare portfolio — including Package, Forwarding, and Distribution — while championing collaboration across operational, commercial, and senior leadership teams worldwide.

The Global Enterprise Account Manager drives global business growth through strategic solution development, executive‑level customer engagement, value creation, contract and pricing strategy, opportunity pipeline management, and long‑term partnership planning. The role requires an ability to influence across a matrixed organization, anticipate customer needs in a complex pharmaceutical supply chain, and deliver differentiated solutions that accelerate UPS Healthcare’s presence and performance across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expand Market share & retain profitably: Ability to build strong ties with customer stakeholders that allow you to negotiate effectively and coordinate global sales strategy through a culture of accountability and collaboration with overlays.
  • Own Client Relationships: Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers across Healthcare’s largest enterprise customers.  Positions themselves as a trusted advisor, helping customers unlock value through UPS’s capabilities. Maintains contract compliance and renewal process.
  • Drive Market Growth: Grow market share across all modes — package, global freight forwarding, warehousing, and distribution, delivering global premium growth across trade lanes.  Identifies decliners/gainers to promote future growth
  • Expand the Portfolio: Leverage UPS’s full suite of services to meet diverse and evolving customer needs, increasing share of wallet across accounts. Collaborate across business units to deliver integrated solutions and increase modal/operational efficiency.
  • Deliver Results: Achieve your revenue, volume, and retention targets by executing against a clear and focused sales plan while improving profitability and operating margins.  Leverages UPS’ leading innovation to build solid QVPs and WIN MORE!

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of successful sales & territory management. Enterprise represents UPS' top sales professionals working with our largest global clientele on the brightest stage!
  • Negotiation skills – Sellling2Succeed, Challenger, SSN
  • Must be available to work flexible hours working alongside global UPS counterparts and global customers w/ offices across geographic regions
  • Must be willing to travel and engage customers, as required (no more than 25% expected)
  • Multi-skilled professional with excellent proven organizational abilities – required
  • Accountability:  Have a clear understanding of objectives & driving towards those goals

Preferences:

  • EST time zone preferred but not required
  • 2+ years in Enterprise Healthcare sales preferred
  • Business-to-Business or Business-to-Consumer sales experience, or UPS management or customer facing role experience required
  • Demonstrates ability to develop strategic sales plans and negotiate in tension
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook)
