About the Role

Our client is seeking the services of a talented music composer for their project, an animated webcomic. The project involves creating an experimental theme song for the webcomic's intro. The composer will be tasked with creating a unique and multifaceted composition that incorporates various instruments and genres to reflect the story's diverse moods. This is a remote position, and the project timeline is flexible, with a preferred delivery within this year or the next.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the client to understand the webcomic's themes, characters, and overall mood.
• Review the provided lyrics and visual artwork to draw inspiration for the composition.
• Compose an experimental and genre-blending theme song that captures the essence of the webcomic.
• Incorporate a variety of instruments, including violin, flute, guitar, and piano, to create a rich and layered sound.

Requirements

• Mid to senior-level experience in music composition, with a diverse portfolio of work.
• Proficiency in composing for various instruments, including violin, flute, guitar, and piano.
• Expertise in blending multiple genres to create cohesive and unique compositions.
• Strong understanding of music theory, composition techniques, and arrangement.
• Proficiency in using digital audio workstations (DAWs) and music production software.
