Scope
We are looking for an experienced Software Process Engineer to be responsible for planning, design and development of electrical test fixtures and automation equipment that are used in the development and manufacture of electrical medical products. 
 
Essential Functions
•    Use computer-assisted engineering and design software such as LabVIEW and equipment to perform assignments.
•    Production troubleshooting and hot fixing of mission critical systems/services.
•    Coordinate with a cross functional team to assist in the design, development, and automation of manufacturing processes to support the fabrication of current and new products.
•    Perform Full Stack code reviews, provide suggestions, and identify best practices.
•    Unit & integration testing.
•    Browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
•    Contribute to the design & development of new products, engineering test equipment & manufacturing fixtures.
•    Participate in the product development cycle providing input on design for manufacturability design for testability, electrical best practices etc.
•    Design, develop and test electrical test fixtures to be used in engineering and production.
•    Verify the operation of test fixtures developed in engineering and repurpose/transition them for use in manufacturing.
•    Prepare and transfer software packages and documentation utilizing change control system.
•    Additional responsibilities as assigned.
 
Key Required Skills, Knowledge and Capabilities:
•    BS or MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience required 
•    3+ years of software development experience in LabVIEW 
•    Working experience in one or more compiled programming languages such as Java, Apex, or C++ or interpreted programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript, Python, or Ruby.
•    Experience in designing and developing high performance, scalable, maintainable and fault tolerant test fixtures.  
•    Ability to articulate with strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization.
