Job description:
We are seeking a Senior Network Voice Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and management of enterprise VOIP solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity Connection, and voice gateway configurations, ensuring optimal voice network performance, reliability, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
This role requires hands-on experience with Cisco voice infrastructure, network security, and multi-site enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities
• Manage and support Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) clusters across large-scale environments.
• Maintain and optimize Cisco Unity Connection for voicemail services.
• Configure and support Cisco 8300 Series routers, VG320 Analog Gateways, and UCS C-series & B-series servers.
Required Skills:
• Monitor and enhance voice circuits (POTS, T1, ISDN PRI, DS3, and SIP Trunks).
• Provide technical guidance and training to 2nd Level support teams.
• Support Layer 2 & Layer 3 network environments within a campus LAN setting. Qualifications & Experience
• 5+ years of experience in network voice engineering and VOIP solutions.
• Expertise in Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity Connection, and Cisco Unified Border Elements (CUBE).
• Strong proficiency in Cisco routers, switches, and analog voice gateways.
• Experience managing Cisco UCS C-series and B-series servers.
• Familiarity with VMware for virtualization support.
Desired Skills:
• Solid understanding of network security principles and Cisco firewalls.
• Proven leadership, team management, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience managing multi-site enterprise networks.
• Hands-on expertise with Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX) and call recording solutions. • Background in data and voice network administration.
