If you’re passionate about animals and love helping people, we’d love to meet you!Hunt Valley Animal Hospital is seeking a friendly, organized, and service-focused Veterinary Receptionist to join our front-desk team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you play a vital role in ensuring a positive, seamless experience from check-in to checkout. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced veterinary or medical office environment and enjoys building relationships with pet owners.

Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:

• Provide warm, professional client service to pet owners and patients
• Answer phones, schedule veterinary appointments, and gather patient history
• Process invoices and payments accurately
• Verify vaccination and medical record status
• Communicate patient arrivals and needs with veterinarians and technical staff
• Prepare prescription, food, and OTC product requests as directed
• Maintain accurate records in veterinary practice management software
• Support smooth daily hospital operations and front-desk workflow

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a veterinary clinic, animal hospital, or medical reception role preferred
• Genuine passion for animal health and client care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
