The Consumer Marketplace service team builds and operates the OCI Marketplace, an online store that offers our customers images, stacks, container images, SaaS solutions and more from Oracle and its trusted partners.We are looking for software engineers who are ready to take on new challenges in maintaining and developing an highly available and scalable service.

As a Senior Member on this team, you will be improving our service infrastructure, and delivering the platform using latest technologies on OCI. You will partner with product team, learn about the existing challenges, and influence the vision and direction. You will execute the entire software lifecycle – development, testing, CI/CD and production operations. You must balance between product feature development and production operational concerns like writing run books, ops automation, structured logging, instrumentation for metrics and events leveraging a plethora of internal tooling at OCI.

Targeting candidate who can work onsite on a FLEX schedule (2-3x/week) at Austin-TX, Broomfield-CO, Nashville-TN.

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend software development experience
• BS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Working knowledge in Java, C++, C#, or similar OO languages
• Strong working experience on GitHub/Bitbucket, TeamCity/Hudson, Maven/Gradle
• Hands-on experience building and operating tools and dashboards with large data pipelines
• Experience with at least one scripting language for automating tasks, proof of concept work, or command line tools
• Experience developing customer-focused architectures and restful web services
• Experience driving security reviews, documentation, UX reviews, and working with Product Managers through the entire launch process

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing services on a public cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Oracle)
• Work with large volumes of data and logging
• Understanding of key performance indicators and how to dig into them
• Experience and understanding of multi-AD/AZ and regional data centers
• Building continuous integration/deployment pipelines with robust testing and deployment schedules
• Experience working with internal customers and translating requests into prioritized work or features

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
