Business Intelligence Associate - (local applicants only)

Description

This position’s primary focus is to work within our BI data/Intranet team producing datasets and solutions to stakeholders across all functions of the corporation. Work within the team and stakeholders to help with problem resolution, end-user support, process mapping, system testing on assigned projects.

Job Duties:

• Develop datasets using Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Review project goals with stakeholder and prepare project plans
• Develop solutions for stakeholders using Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Develop strong cross-functional and collaborative relationships with business partners to fully understand their strategies and needs.
• Create and maintain both end-user and administrative documentation.
• Assist in acquisition integrations including analyzing and preparing integration datasets.
• Assist in basic NEFCO intranet page updates.
• Assist in implementation of new technologies and add-on products for NEFCO ERP.

• Demonstrates strong initiative, establishes personal goals, and takes responsibility for meeting them within defined timelines
• Ability to function in a dynamic environment subject to spontaneous changes in schedules and priorities
• High level of proficiency in Excel, including knowledge of formulas and techniques, pivot tables, etc.**
• Experience extracting, cleaning, and manipulating data
• High aptitude to learn new technology
• BS/BA degree in computer science, business, marketing, engineering, or related field.
• Experience with SQL or PIM management systems preferred
• Experience with eCommerce sites preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
