About the role
Description
This position’s primary focus is to work within our BI data/Intranet team producing datasets and solutions to stakeholders across all functions of the corporation. Work within the team and stakeholders to help with problem resolution, end-user support, process mapping, system testing on assigned projects.
Job Duties:
- Develop datasets using Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
- Review project goals with stakeholder and prepare project plans
- Develop solutions for stakeholders using Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Develop strong cross-functional and collaborative relationships with business partners to fully understand their strategies and needs.
- Create and maintain both end-user and administrative documentation.
- Assist in acquisition integrations including analyzing and preparing integration datasets.
- Assist in basic NEFCO intranet page updates.
- Assist in implementation of new technologies and add-on products for NEFCO ERP.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact and communicate with team members.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in an environment with competing priorities.
- Ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of management.
- Excellent problem solving, organization and analytical skills.
- Desire to work in an information systems environment
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
- Demonstrates strong initiative, establishes personal goals, and takes responsibility for meeting them within defined timelines
- Ability to function in a dynamic environment subject to spontaneous changes in schedules and priorities
- High level of proficiency in Excel, including knowledge of formulas and techniques, pivot tables, etc.**
- Experience extracting, cleaning, and manipulating data
- High aptitude to learn new technology
- BS/BA degree in computer science, business, marketing, engineering, or related field.
- Experience with SQL or PIM management systems preferred
- Experience with eCommerce sites preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
