ATI is seeking to hire a Supply Chain Manager to support scheduling for our Specialty Rolled Products business unit. This role will be based in Brackenridge, PA.

 

This position will oversee the inbound and outbound flow of material for SRP’s Primary Operations and is responsible for daily and weekly scheduling for our melt operations (Latrobe, PA; Lockport, NY; Brackenridge, PA) and our Hot Rolling Processing facility in Brackenridge PA.

 

 

Essential Functions

 

• Oversee all scheduling activities for the following operations throughout SRP:
  • Carbon Conversion -- work with the carbon conversion team to streamline HRPF conversion services.
  • HRPF scheduling -- Walking Beam Furnaces, Danieli, Ingot Breakdown, and Inventory Management
  • Work with SA&C and SRP on Titanium scheduling
  • Maintain excellent on-time delivery to all downstream plants and customers
  • Oversee the Primary Vendor Management activities (Shasta, MSI, Breaburn, etc..)
  • #10 scheduling priority (CMs, Torch, and Sonic)

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain, engineering, production planning, or related field OR four years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing
• Previous manufacturing experience with knowledge of products, materials and inventory, process flow, and supply chain principles

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supply chain experience as a process and people leader in a manufacturing setting

 

 

  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Managerial/leadership skills required to effectively manage with respect to planning, organizing, motivating, directing and controlling output
• Strong written and oral communication skills both internally and with customers
• Ability to analyze and present data effectively
• Working knowledge of MS Office and the ability to learn and utilize job related systems
• Working knowledge of HRPF Software.

  • RMS (Rail Management System)
  • SILOC (HRPF Inventory tracking)
