Production Team Lead - Nights

We are currently looking for a Production Team Lead - Nights to join our team! $2,000 Sign on BONUS!

As a Production Team Lead you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating employees on shift to execute our core operating processes.

Shift Hours: 5:50PM-6:00AM on a Rotating 2-2-3 Schedule

Pay rate: $28.43 plus $1.50 shift premium for hours worked after 6pm

A Taste of the Role:

• Leading and coordinating employees on shift to execute NP’s core operating processes, including GMPs, SOPs, supply management strategies, SQF practices and LEAN philosophies, to ensure quality product, efficiencies and cost structures that optimize profitability and the best value for our customers

• Review and discuss the production board, ensuring production for a shift is on schedule and making changes as needed to attain production goals

• Work with Quality Assurance on shift to ensure product quality standards, minimize held production, and ensure proper disposal of held product when necessary
• Work with the Supervisor to carefully plan the utilization of materials and other resources to minimize waste, properly utilize labor, and minimize line downtime
• Work with maintenance and the Production Supervisor to understand optimal machine setups, coordinate preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical problems in order to optimize performance of equipment and facilities
• Work closely with the supervisor to optimize the engagement and development of team members
• Conduct pre and post operational inspections.

• Knowing, following, training and enforcing all rules and safety regulations as set forth by Nature Path Foods

   

Path for Success:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of experience and 1-2 years of direct supervision in manufacturing environment – preferably in a food and/or lean manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of achieving results through the growth and development of others
• Has strong work ethics that demonstrates excellent job performance in productivity, quality, safety and attendance
• Demonstrated ability to collect data, analyze and draw facts, make decisions based on those facts
• A team player who is resourceful, dependable, collaborative
