This role will be key in building centralized visibility into personal and AI data usage, ensuring compliance with global privacy regulations, and improving documentation, transparency, and vendor governance.</span><span> </span></p> <p><strong><em><span><span>What </span><span>You’ll</span><span> Be Doing:</span></span></em></strong><span> </span></p> <ul> <li><span>Lead the design and implementation of a privacy-by-design program, ensuring alignment with frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, and emerging AI governance requirements</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Assess ongoing privacy compliance gaps in the product and partner with engineering teams to define remediation plans</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify and document all data flows</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Partner with cross-functional teams to operationalize privacy requirements through documental, controls, and process improvement</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Establish and maintain centralized visibility into the use of AI systems and personal data across products and internal tools</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Lead full-cycle cyber and privacy assessments including Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), GDPR assessments, NIST Privacy Assessment </span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Build and maintain Records of Processing Activities (ROPA)</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Support privacy risk assessments, data subject access requests (DSARs), and internal audits</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Validate and update data retention schedules across systems</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Assist in the creation and maintenance of transparency artifacts (e.g., privacy notices, cookies, and data use disclosures)</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Support Data Protection Agreement (DPA) management, ensuring vendors are properly documented and contractual privacy obligations are met</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Track and assist with DPA improvements, including updating templates, coordinating reviews, and maintaining version control</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Monitor regulatory developments and emerging AI privacy requirements to help maintain compliance readiness</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <p><strong><em><span><span>Qualifications</span><span> &amp; Experience needed to be successful in this role:</span></span></em></strong><span> </span></p> <ul> <li><span>4-6 years of experience in privacy, compliance, or GRC (governance, risk, compliance) functions.</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Strong understanding of global privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, etc.).</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Experience with data mapping, vendor management, or privacy impact assessments.</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Demonstrates deep ownership of privacy risks and gaps </span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Influence decision makers and drive corrective actions across teams.</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Comfortable escalating risks to senior leadership to ensure timely remediation.</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul>
