Job Description

Purpose The ISMS specialist works within the regulatory compliance department. He/she participates in improving and maintaining security certifications such as ISO 27001 & SOC 2 as well as other standards and applicable laws related to security. The ISMS Specialist also works with the privacy compliance manager and information security manager to ensure regulations requirements are integrated into followed processes and procedures while improving our current management system. This position provides guidance, support, and training to the rest of the organization.

Major accountabilities

Management of the ISMS ● Ensure management of Corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs): issue, assign, verify implementation and effectiveness within set timeframes. ● Ensure maintenance of the ISMS documentation and proper retention of documents and records. ● Understand and remain current on applicable Information security, PHI, and privacy regulations in North America, Australia/NZ, UK, EU, and other geographies as required. ● Supervise and coordinate internal and external ISMS audits. ● Raise Intelerad privacy and maturity level ● Provide advice and take action, where necessary, in response to audit findings and recommendations in relation to security standards. ● Coordinate and complete security questionnaires as requested by clients. ● Oversee and participate in the creation of ISMS training material and provide such training when required. ● Participate in the definition and implementation of any new privacy and security policies, practices, and controls. ● In collaboration with the privacy compliance manager, follow-up on information security or privacy incidents, and propose improvement solutions to prevent breaches, events, and weaknesses.

Improve the ISMS

● Create, update, and/or review ISMS documents, in collaboration with process owners. ● Analyze and find solutions to improve our ISMS efficiency ● Coordinate and participate in internal process improvement projects ● Work on special projects with regard to the organization’s orientations (reports, statistics, research, etc.). ● Collaborate with internal teams to document trends and risks in order to develop, implement and lead initiatives that will improve Intelerad’s security and risk profile ● Collaborate with Process Owners (SMEs) to integrate new security requirements into current processes. ● Participate in other projects deemed necessary by Intelerad

Qualifications

Employment Prerequisites

● 3 years experience in information security management system(s) ● Bachelor degree in information security, business, quality management or related fields ● Knowledge of ISO27001, SOC 2, and HIPAA requirements. ● Experience in the IT field, software development, medical and/or cloud hosting ● Knowledge of MS Office and/or Google Suite ● Strong verbal and written communication skills in English ● Well-organized and project-oriented ● Experience with M&A a plus, but not required
