Freelance - Senior Buyer in Procurement IT

<h2>Description </h2> We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer in Procurement with a dominant background in IT procurement. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process for various categories, mainly software and hardware, but also have an interest in exploring other categories. The position is an interim role, starting as soon as possible and running until the end of the year.   This is a full time position with 2 days at the office ( Amsterdam or Hilversum) and 3 days at home.   <h3> Key Responsibilities:</h3> <ul> <li>Responsible for the procurement process for various categories, including software and hardware but can extend to travel, HR, Consultancy etc...</li> <li>Develop and execute sourcing strategies for IT categories, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial targets.</li> <li>Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.</li> <li>Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify procurement needs, evaluate supplier proposals, and select the best suppliers.</li> <li>Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.</li> <li>Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier performance metrics.</li> <li>Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in IT procurement, sharing knowledge and insights with the procurement team.</li> </ul> <h3><br/>Qualifications and Experience:</h3> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, economics or supply chain management.</li> <li>3-5 years of experience in procurement, with a dominant background in IT procurement (software and hardware).</li> <li>Proven experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.</li> <li>Strong analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies for IT categories.</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li> </ul> If you meet the above qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please submit your resume for consideration.   #LI-FP1 <p><strong>About Media.Monks:</strong></p> <p>Media.Monks is on a mission to create a new future for this industry.
