Tender Manager (m/f/d) Global Logistics

YOUR TASKS

 

• Preparing the transportation concept and planning for the logistics scope of sales offers
• Understanding scope of works and highlighting risks and opportunities
• Providing cost calculations for the wind farm logistics (full scope from factory to site) for major as well as secondary materials and tools
• Reviewing risks along the internal sales project review process (gate process) and active implementation of risk mitigation measures during customer contract negotiations
• Coordinating route surveys; conducting site visits with logistics subcontractors
• Liaising with other departments like Engineering, Purchasing and Legal during tendering phase
• Consolidating, tracking and updating costs database with lessons learned from operations
• Interface between Regions and Headquarter
• Participating in subcontractor negotiations together with Procurement
• Represent the organization in technical and commercial negotiations
• Participating in customer contract negotiation
• Helping to improve tender and execution technical documents for logistics

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management/Logistics, alternatively comparable professional training and/or extensive experience
• Strong communication skills, ability to communicate with all levels of management
• Experience in an international matrix organization
• Business fluent in English, Spanish and/or German is a plus.
• Good MS-Office knowledge.
• Good Wind Turbine Logistics knowledge beneficial.
• Strong business acumen, end-to-end-thinking, proactive and target-oriented
• Outstanding team player with the aim to make this world a better place
