Job Summary

The Allied Health Division of Jefferson Community and Technical College has an opening for a Paramedic Technology Adjunct Instructor. Adjuncts assist in the EMS lab and clinical rotations at various hospitals. They help the lead instructor with instruction, testing, and assessments in the lab or clinical settings. Lab hours may vary based on the program's needs, and clinical instruction hours may vary based on the students in the clinical settings and rotations.

Monitor students in skill labs and clinical rotations at various hospital sites, such as ER, ICU, and field rotations. Lab hours may vary based on the program's needs, and clinical instruction hours may vary based on the students in the clinical settings and rotations.

Arrive prepared on scheduled days in appropriate uniform with appropriate identification to assist in skills labs, demonstrate skills, run EMS scenarios, or assist with skill exams. Complete the required clinical paperwork and submit it to the program director as requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

KBEMS licensed Paramedic with instructor Level III endorsement. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate Degree of Higher, AHA instructor certifications
